Welcome to Salsa Verde School
of
Latin American and Flamenco Dance, Limerick

Noche Latina! - Latin American Mid-summer Party , Friday, 2 July, 1999, Glentworth Hotel, Limerick, from 10pm . . . !

Salsa Verde is a Limerick Dance Club which specialises in Latin American dance. There are classes running a few nights a week and regular Latin American Carnival evenings. Salsa Verde wants to celebrate Latin American and other cultures, and encourage integration of various cultures present in Limerick through teaching and events. 'Salsa' is a metaphor for other cultures, and 'verde' signifies 'green', which of course stands for Ireland! Objective numero uno is to have fun. We will have photos of dance and class events up here soon - so stay in touch.

The latin american nights take place roughly once a month. The next is on Friday, the 2nd of July. The DJ is Pollyanna - a professional dance teacher and DJ. She does a class before the event for those who wish to take it and then the evening moves straight into dance and all that goes it!! This time she is going to teach Argentinian Tango and Lambada! See you at the Glentworth Hotel, city centre, at 9.30pm!!!

Teachers

Bridget Harte has been teaching Ballroom and Latin American Dance for 22 years. She studied in London and has had her own school of Dance in Cork - The Cork Dance Centre. She is highly skilled and combines fab teaching with excellent fun.
